The Chief Executive Officer, Mr Alastair Dawson, was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer for Rockhampton Regional Council and commenced this role on 23 June 2008.
The State Government instituted the Workforce Transition Code of Practice in August 2007 which serves to regulate employee arrangements and protect the job security of all permanent Council employees up until March 2011.
